We care about your HydroTracer!
We provide program updates, reagent, spares and take care of the calibration as part of your test equipment monitoring.
Wherever measuring devices are used in quality-related areas, the regular check of these instruments is required.
For the calibration, return the unit in its original packaging to us. The calibration process involves checking all moving parts, sensors, seals and filters, and cleaning and leak testing of the reactor.
The calibration is based on a method described in ISO 15512 PLASTICS – is described DETERMINATION OF MOISTURE CONTENT. A defined amount of a calibration salt is heated in a closed reactor to 175 ° C, whereby a complete evaporation of its crystallisation water is ensured.
The average results of these tests must be within a tolerance range.
The absolute error of 0.1 mg water is equivalent to a relative error 0.001% = 10 ppm, if the sample weight is 10 g.
The absolute error of 0.1 mg water is equivalent to a relative error 0.0005% = 5 ppm, if the sample weight is 20 g.
